Welcome Home Heroes Fund

welcome_home_heroes

Background to the Fund

The Welcome Home Heroes Fund evolved in February 2010, out of a real desire to provide support for our Armed Forces, To honour our Troops, the young men and women who have lost their lives or been wounded in the line of duty, and to support the bereaved families. The Fund has been specifically created to raise and provide funds to support a returning Battalion’s welfare team in providing Welcome Home Events, Family Days, Concerts, etc that will both honour the our young men and women, and support the  bereaved families.

The Welcome Home Heroes Fund brings together ‘like- minded’ people from across the Lothians with a desire to muster community support for our returning troops and their families. Home Base’ support is so important. Attending a Battalion’s Homecoming Parade  is a simple, yet practical way of letting them, and their family members know that their communities respect, care and support them.

We do appreciate that in today’s climate everyone is struggling to raise funds, but this is a very special cause. If you would like to support us, then please send your DONATION to:  Welcome Home Heroes Fund, 40/8 Hardengreen Business Park, Dalhousie Road, Dalkeith EH22 3NX.
