Donating & Fundraising

Fundraising and Donations are vital to development of The Mark Wright Project, our Centre and the services that we provide to our ex-service men and women and their families.

These brave men and women answered the call, and served our country.  However, war zone/combat exposure can be a life changing experience therefore it is not uncommon for many of them to suffer some form of trauma and stress associated these experiences.  For many of our ex-service men and women the return to civilian life can be difficult, but early intervention and professional support can help in minimising the associated mental health problems and ease their transition back into civilian life.  So please help us to help our ex service men and women and their families.

  • The Centre’s monthly running costs are £7,500.

  • 1 Therapy/Counselling day costs £250.

  • 1 Complimentary therapy day costs £200.

Fundraising

We need YOUR SUPPORT.  We need your help in raising the funds in order to provide the support services to our ex-service men and women – our counselling advice and support services, social and physical activities, adventure/activity programme and the overall general running and development costs of the Centre.

If you are interested in organising a Fundraising Event, then please contact Bob Wright on 0131 654 2531 or email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

We can provide fundraising material, such as posters, flyers and sponsorship forms.
